How can I refresh my property listing back to the top of search results?
Property listings on Rightmove and Zoopla, by default, are listed in newly listed date order meaning that when your property listing is first published it will naturally appear high within search results and subsequently cascade down as newer property listings within your area are posted.
Rightmove and Zoopla prevent property listings and searches from being falsely manipulated so therefore Upad are unable to “relist” your property or push it back up to the top.
However, should you reduce your rent by 2% or greater, Rightmove are known to refresh your property listing to appear higher within search results. This will change the “Date Added on DD/MM/YYY” disclaimer to “Rent Reduced on DD/MM/YYYY”.
If you wish to reduce your rent, you can do so by logging into your Upad account and going to your Property Console and clicking on Edit > The Advert for the property you wish to amend. You will then see the relevant option where you can amend your rent amount and click Save.
