Rightmove: Fees apply – What does this mean?
On all property listings (exc Scottish properties) it is stated that “fees apply” within the search results of property listing and on the property listing itself. This is because as agents we are required to communicate fees, irrespective if they are any being charged or not. Rightmove employ a blanket policy and is not something Upad is able to amend.
We recommend to landlords who are not charging fees to make this explicitly clear within the summary description of their property listing to communicate that you are not charging any fees.
You can edit your summary description by logging into your Upad account, going to your Property Console and clicking on Edit > The Advert for the property you wish to amend the details to, whereby you’ll see a text box referring to “Summary Description”. Once you have made your changes, click on Save and these will reflect on the property portals shortly.
